Full Time 1099 or W2

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Business Analyst to join our team in supporting IT shared services initiatives. In this position, you will help facilitate the adoption of modern cloud-based and low-code/no-code platforms, including but not limited to AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, ServiceNow, Power Platform.

This role is pivotal in streamlining customer engagement, from onboarding through service implementation. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineers, platform specialists, and federal partners—to ensure each customer’s journey is smooth, productive, and aligned with service standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

▸ Act as the lead point of contact for incoming and current shared services customers, guiding them through the onboarding process
▸ Facilitate discovery calls and requirement sessions to gather and document client goals, challenges, and technical needs
▸ Convert stakeholder input into actionable requirements, process diagrams, and user stories
▸ Maintain intake and request tracking tools to support prioritization and resource planning
▸ Liaise with development teams to validate alignment between business needs and technical solutions
▸ Support invoicing and usage tracking by coordinating service consumption data with financial teams
▸ Develop and update core documentation including service catalogs, intake templates, and decision logs
▸ Serve as the bridge between business users, delivery teams, and third-party vendors to drive clarity and timely resolution
▸ Contribute to onboarding content, such as help guides, knowledge base articles, and FAQs
▸ Regularly assess and suggest improvements to intake workflows and customer engagement processes

Basic Qualifications:

▸ Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field
▸ 3–5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with emphasis on IT service delivery or federal consulting
▸ Understanding of public cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
▸ Experience with business process analysis, stakeholder engagement, and intake coordination
▸ Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies
▸ Strong interpersonal communication and technical writing skills
▸ Experience coordinating billing data or tracking usage-based services
▸ Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

▸ Experience working with federal government clients
▸ Exposure to shared services models or customer success practices
▸ Hands-on knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and SharePoint
▸ Understanding of ITIL principles or other service management methodologies
▸ Agile certifications (Scrum Master, PMI-ACP) are advantageous

Roartech Inc. is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer. In this role, you’ll help design, deploy, and fine-tune cloud infrastructure—primarily in AWS or Azure or GCP—to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient operations. Candidates with strong DevOps expertise and a passion for automation will thrive in this fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Experience with AWS is essential, and familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or multi-cloud environments is a strong advantage.

What You’ll Be Doing:

▸ Write and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to streamline infrastructure management
▸ Design and deploy AWS-based cloud architectures that are secure, resilient, and highly available
▸ Manage IAM configurations—including role creation, policy enforcement, and access control—to align with compliance standards
▸ Contribute within Agile/Scrum teams and collaborate with developers, security specialists, and other engineers
▸ Support DevOps efforts by integrating infrastructure-as-code, pipeline automation, and configuration management tools
▸ Adhere to and help improve cloud security and governance policies
▸ Occasionally support projects within GCP, including folder and policy configurations
▸ Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues and support CI/CD pipeline stability

Required Skills & Experience:

▸ Active U.S. Secret security clearance
▸ At least 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a similar technical capacity
▸ Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
▸ Strong experience with key AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation)
▸ Demonstrated ability to manage IAM roles and access structures securely
▸ Previous experience working within Agile or Scrum teams
▸ Ready to jump into an established Agile environment and deliver from day one

Preferred Qualifications:

▸ Exposure to Azure and/or GCP environments
▸ Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks
▸ Experience with CI/CD tools and automation workflows
▸ Background supporting federal clients or working within government IT environments
▸ Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Engineer, etc.)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

▸ Prepare and deliver clear, concise briefings and visual reports for senior executives—translating complex technical details into actionable insights

Required Qualifications:

▸ Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT Management, or a related field
▸ Minimum of 5 years of experience leading IT or data-focused projects within a federal setting
▸ Demonstrated ability to present to and engage senior government executives effectively
▸ Experience implementing Agile workflows and human-centered design principles
▸ Strong knowledge of project, product, or portfolio management practices
▸ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder alignment
▸ Proven success leading cross-disciplinary teams, including technical and data experts

Preferred Qualifications:

▸ Master’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., MBA, MIS, or Information Management)
▸ Familiarity with data analytics platforms and tools (hands-on experience not required)
▸ Experience managing workflows and task assignments in tools such as Jira or similar
▸ Ability to interpret technical requirements and align them with business goals for maximum impact
▸ Solid understanding of data-centric operations and process optimization in government IT
